I'm really pleased to finally share a bit more info on our release of the highly anticipated 3D conversion of House on Haunted Hill!

Conversion Ninja Alex has been working away on this AI assisted 2D to 3D conversion for at least the last six months, and some of the conversion work he's done here is worthy of a $5,000,000 conversion! But we are still finessing the footage even further to be able to deliver a product that respects and presents this amazing film in it's absolute best light.

We've also been working away in the background to pull together some superb rewards for our Kickstarter backers - apart from our usual 3D Blu-rays, of which this will be a double disc again, we have some really unique rewards lined up - I'd love to share more info but all will be revealed in a little while. Oh and obviously we've got some really cool ideas for stretch goals and bonus content!

Our original aim was to have the discs launched for September 25th, which was literally a date plucked out of the air, but we are a little delayed and I'd anticipate the actual release will more likely be November by the time the Kickstarter has completed and disc production has taken place.

Our current plan for launching the Kickstarter then is we will have a brand new 2D to 3D Livestream PROVISIONALLY PLANNED FOR Saturday 2nd September, 17:00 UK time where we'll be chatting to Alex about the conversion and all things 3D as well as sharing a whole heap of other 3D conversions and or conversion related 3D content. This livestream will be shared on our new AIPOP-3D YouTube Channel.

The Kickstarter will then also launch on 2nd September with a 45 day running time which will take us into mid-October when final production can begin. From here we would anticipate that rewards would start shipping early November.

Please remember Kickstarter doesn't work like a pre-order from a store - we only know how many discs are required once the Kickstarter finishes so we can only place our production orders at that time. And also please note this isn't a full time job for any of us - we aren't in a financial position to support a paid team, we can only do this with support and patience from you, so delays such as we've had in this case can occur.

Finally please do sign up to our newsletter to make sure you're kept up to date with our latest news - we won't spam you, probably be lucky if we do one email a month and we will not share your details with anyone else, ever!
