Nightmare Castle 3D Blu-ray - Now Out of Print
Our 3D conversion launch title "Nightmare Castle 3D" from EYEPOP-3D is now officially out of print in the double 3D Blu-ray disc format with the last few double disc sets still available via our online store.
Prior to launch there was much discussion as to whether it was possible that a team of one could successfully convert a feature film to a decent standard and I must admit even whilst doing the conversion I found myself questioning whether it was achievable. With the right level of enthusiasm and tenacity as well as support from Alex and Phil though I got through and created a good foundation upon which we could build future releases. Here we are about 15 months later and with nearly a dozen converted titles between EYEPOP-3D and Plan-D releases it's certain we can convert them; the real question is do enough people want them? But that's for a later debate!
So with the double disc copies now down to single figures if you want a copy now will be your final chance to secure one.
Plan-D Releases
Phil's got a brand new conversion of an absolute classic launching very, very soon and don't forget in August we released both "Frankenstein's Daughter 3D" and "Gammera 3D". Both of these titles have had great feedback with some suggesting "Gammera 3D" may even surpass the EYEPOP-3D quality level and be our best conversion yet! Now that we didn't see coming!
In other news there's been a change of plan (a change of plan-d?) and our anticipated conversion of "The Phantom Planet" will become an EYEPOP-3D release for a number of reasons - primarily as we believe we can achieve something really special with this title but that's going to take a fair bit of time and effort so we don't anticipate this releasing until 2025. If you'd like a sneak peak at the opening sequence it will be included as part of a trailer/clip montage on Phil's new Plan-D release.
Horror Express 3D Lenticular Slipcovers
We've had massive demand for our remaining few lenticular slipcovers which we're created for the "Horror Express 3D" Kickstarter which left us in a bit of a quandary as to how to equitably offer these to the fans so we are hoping you'll be okay with the decision to auction them off for charity.
Producing very low volumes of anything is pretty costly and in this case buy the time we produced a new slipcover design, designed and produced lenticulars, had the whole lot printed and finished the actual unit cost of these is probably best not to think about!
So we have the last remaining 5 slipcovers available which will be listed on Ebay with a starting bid of £14.99 plus shipping. The entire proceed of these auctions will be donated directly from Ebay to The Cure Parkinson's Trust.
Thanks for reading - Keep it 3D!
